On November 18-20, 2011, Deborah Frieze hosted a learning experience in the Cloughjordan Eco-village, Co Tipperary, Ireland. Learn more about what happened.

A deep dive learning adventure for human beings who want to make a difference and accelerate their capacity for living and leading the future today.

In this era of increasingly complex problems and shrinking resources, can we find meaningful and enduring solutions to the challenges we face today as individuals, communities, and nations?  This was one of the questions explored by Deborah Frieze and Meg Wheatley as they went on a learning journey, around the world, to meet people who have walked out of limiting beliefs and assumptions and walked on to create healthy and resilient communities that are daring to live the future now.

Building on this experience, and also the pioneering experience of Ireland’s first eco-village, we want to further explore the roles taken by change agents (e.g. hospice worker, midwife, pioneer, connector, illuminator etc) and the models of leadership that are proving effective (e.g. collaborative, networked, trans-local, self-organising etc).

We invite you to come and explore this field with us, to reflect on the roles you can take and how you can make your own authentic best contribution.  We want to sense together the potential to enhance collaborative approaches to systemic change in Ireland and chart some of the possible paths forward.

You are invited to join us for this two-day learning experience. It will be engaging and provocative. Please come ready to fully participate, challenge your own assumptions and take your leadership to its next level.  Together, we want to dream, explore and act for a better future; walking out of a collapsing world of destructive individualism and walking on to an emerging world of creative collaboration and possibility.
