Kufunda Youth Programme

In 2004, a few years after founding Kufunda Learning Village, Marianne Knuth wrote an essay reflecting on what inspired her to return to Zimbabwe. Here are excerpts from that essay.

This 2012 video includes a reflection from Marianne Knuth about the roots of Kufunda, as well as highlights the young participants in the first edition of the 4-month programme. This is a life-changing experience for these youth. As one participant says in the film:

“This programme helped me to get to know myself. ‘Who am I? What do I expect from my life, what is my focus and passion for my life?’ It brought in a new beginning.”
