Violence at Syntagma on 3 September 2011
Here is my harvest from Saturday, 3 September 2011 in Syntagma… * * * On 3 September, I witnessed such violence in Syntagma that it broke my heart open and now I am left wondering – wondering – what I am really meant to be doing with my life? There was a call for people to begin gathering again in Syntagma – to continue to show our resistance and say ‘not in our name’ – as well as continue to talk about what else we can do. We had spent the day with Anthi and Odysseas planning our work out [...]
We Are Indebted to Ourselves
This week – Sarah, Anthi and I had a sacred conversation – one of those conversations that cracks the ribcage open and goes straight to the ‘heart of the matter’ – “no messin’”, as my friend Charlotte says with her Scottish accent. It was also a conversation that converged many inquiries I have been having with a good friend and learning partner, Mark Siebert. Anthi, Sarah and I were inquiring into what is really happening to this land – and we were listening into how to best serve. We knew that we had to descend – to deep dive to [...]

What is happening in Greece is a large scale walk out and walk on – a gathering of people who are reclaiming life – people who know self organisation and are re-membering to this. Yesterday – we were not demonstrating or protesting – we were standing up to life – saying yes to [...]
Democracy Rising in Greece
The evolution of consciousness is definitely on in Greece – with our Greek spirit rising in a beautiful way and here in Athens surrounded by people now living in Greece from different parts of the world, (English, Germans, Bangladeshis, Pakistanis, Africans, etc.). I want to share with you what we experienced on Sunday night and from further conversations with a friend who is working closely with what is emerging. There were about 500,000+ people out in the streets of central Athens – the streets from Syntagma (Constitution Square) to Omonia were filled – people of all ages and nationalities. Syntagma [...]
