Finding a New Path Forward

I worked at Procter & Gamble for 22 years, in Mexico for 9 years and almost 13 in Cincinnati. I was happy in my work and was working very hard, around 12 hours per day. I was doing something that I love, which is sustainability and renewable energy. However, one night, around 2.5 years ago I realized that this was not what I really want to do. It was not my life mission. So I decided to look for my life mission.

Several months after this, I had the opportunity to go to the Inca Trail in Peru. This was a transformative experience for me as I was able to connect with myself and started to trust my intuition. By that time I had a better idea of my life mission, which is to contribute to the conscious evolution of humanity. I only need to find out exactly how I will contribute.

I decided that if I had an opportunity to leave the company, I would do it. A few months after this, the company offered voluntary packages as pre-retirement and I took one. I left the company on June 1, 2012 and things started to flow in the right direction. A couple days after I left, I was invited to the Global Cooperative Forum’s Initial Laboratory Week gathering. Other opportunities are arising. I feel very happy.
